Do votes for Mitt Romney still count toward his final delegate totals now that he's out of the race?

Now that Mike Huckabee officially announced he is not leaving the race (via Saturday Night Live), though it is mathematically impossible for him to win enough delegates to become the nominee, it appears that he is trying to get second billing in case something happens to McCain. Right now Romney is in second place with 272 delegates to Huckabee's 254 (McCain has 1013 and needs 1191 to win). Given that this is Huckabee's strategy, I wonder if votes placed for Romney count at this point, even though he is out of the race?
