Should I give the joints in the cocrete roof slab size of 20 m X 10 m. Slab thk 110mm. Reinforced 10mm dia tor?

I am constructing two houses together in India at the size of approx.20 m X 10 m. Each house is 10 m X 10m. I have a wall at centre of the building. Double storey house. Foundation: R R masonry. Substructure: 230 mm Brick masonry load bearing walls every 3.5m interval. Appoximate room sizes are 3.5 m X 3.5 m. Roof slab ; RCC 1:2:4 with 10 mm dia reinforcement both sides 150 mm centre to centre. Slab thickness 110 mm. My question is: I want to do a cast in situ reinforced concrete roof slab for the size of 20 m X 10 m. Should I give a joint in the concrete at middle of load bearing brick wall to avoid cracks due to shrinkage and expansion. If yes what type of joint should I give? Is it Control joints or Contraction joints or construction joints. Can I extend my main reinforcement across joints? Also how can avoid any leakage in that joint?
