Does insurance cover rock chips?

I have an 07 eclipse gt and noticed a ton of rock chips from me driving over a pile of pebbles. I have travelers with a 0 deductible. Would this be covered? I've never done a claim before. I'm afraid that these chips will spread. I took it to a dealership and they said they haveta paint whole side and would cost $1500...
