Why do I feel so deserted? Thanks?

I have been praying for the return of my cat. I pretty sure someone has taken her. Why hasn't my prayers been answered. I looked after my cat well loved her,fed her,patted her, let her sleep on the end of my bed,played with her. Why hasn't Tess reappeared as it has been nearly 2 weeks.I'm a kind and caring person and very honest. Why am I'm being punished. My cat is micro chipped, I take her to the vet when she needs to go.
