Straightforward question--Who was the most influential person in the past century?

As much as it pains me to say this, I think that Oprah should be considered as the most influential person in the past century because she not only has a local influence in Chicago, but she also has a stronghold on the entire American population. With her popularity, she's syndicated to other countries (I forget how many) and she has built schools and given large donations to the paupers of other countries around the world. I really don't think there is a corner on this earth that hasn't heard of Oprah. She has inspired many people to change their lives for the better.
