should be located near a port for transport reasons and possibly near other plants that produce SO2 that can be used in the production of sulphuric acid. so2 is a pollutant so it may be taken in and used. may be located in rural areas for employment reasons and improve the economy of the area but transport factors need to be kept in mind.
