Order of protection denied in Florida!! Help!?

wtf?!! I had doented police records of harrasing, not leaving my house, he is an alcoholic and drug abuser with a prior stalking and domestic violence order against him. we dated a year. i filed and temp was approved. in court he had atty, i did not but I had a voice mail from him threatening to make my life a living hell, swearing and saying he would within the bounds of the law of course not harm me physically, but he would make me beg him to stop, wish I was dead and pick off my friends and family one by one - I played this in court.... his atty basically said the last known violence was more than 6 months ago, that his vm was non threatening and he only was contacting me to see my kids which he bonded with. The judge denied my petition. basically did not even look at my evidence - I felt helpless. I even asked her what is a woman to do to protect herself? Its like the judge protected him.. but she did tell him 'this relationship is over, so you really do not have any reason to contact her or write about her (oh he also blogs about me and defames me because I will not return his calls or emails).. this has been going on over 7 months!! Why would I be denied... it was clear this guy is imbalanced! Can I do anything about it now? also, after court, he blogged about me again and today he tried calling me - but no message this time and from another number. I do not want to be a statistic, I am a mother of young kids! My ex husband wants to beat thisn guy up - but of course hed be arrested right? I am so frustrated and feel so betrayed by a legal system that should be protecting me. I did everything right and defended myself, proved my case (well, not to the judge apparently)... if I fight back, I am in trouble, right? But he basically just got permission to do whatever he wants with no legal recourse on my part and he KNOWS this. I am terrified he is going to do something now because he left court all y and has had no consequence for his ongoing harrasment... any advice?

Decorating help??

Okay so I'm moving to my apartment in a couple of months and I am trying to figure out how I"m going to decorate everything.. I've got my two bathrooms and my bedroom, but I need a little advice from people on my living room... I have white/beige-ish suede couches, and what I was going to do was paint the walls an orange-peach color and then get throw pillows with white, peach, and brown to match my furniture and curtains... but then I have this papisan chair that has a mint greenish cushion... if I were to keep that color and avoid having to buy another cushion, what could I do to incorporate that color into the scheme? Should I maybe add another color to balance the peach and mint green? And if so what color? Or should I just throw out that green cushion and get a new one? Because I know it's going to be really hard to get those two colors to work together.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!! :)

I was in a big mall kind of thing, it turned out to be… I remember putting on this helmet, or maybe stepping on a kind of pad? And then getting this huge head rush as i dissipated into another universe where I took on the role as someone's parent. I had a huge wad of cash I was holding, some checks. (Which, now that I think about it, I had been watching Dancing with the Stars and a friend was on, and he ran up to get a coffee or something at this Cafe I was at in the mall and I Patted him on the back, friendly, and he gave me this money and left.) Anyways, I kept holding this money and my two little "kids" would not leave me alone, trying to get it and shrieking etc… So I kept pushing them away and hitting them etc… Even though they looked so cute sometimes and I felt bad but my actions were reinforced by their incessant attempts to get my precious money. Then, I was zapped out of the game, and I, along with other people who I think I knew, scrambled back on these pads to play again. This time I had a black guy riding around in an orange lowrider, this other guy ended up shooting him and killing him, giving me the choice of another situation… I think I clicked something like "Abby's _____" and it zapped me to this circle of people who were watching a screen that asked questions. I had a keyboard in my lap that was kind of hard to type on, and the questoins that came up on the screen were so hard to answer. The lady that seemed kind of like a mother came up to me and asked why aren't you typing? I said "I'm thinking haha" and we both laughed. Then I kind of stopped trying to answer them myself as I noticed the other people in the room had some kind of weird expertise on a lot of these questions randomly. There was a question about the sea, and this one seemingly average guy elaborated on a weird disease that infects the ear to grow to huge sizes underwater. There seemed to be all kinds of people along the spectrum in this (what evolved into a sharing circle kind of thing..) I remember this one woman dressed glittery and all that, waltzing into the room announcing how beautiful she was at one prom. Another sweet girl my age, kindly laughed, as we usually do. Anyways, I watched this short, kind of tubby guy with a beard, holding his starbucks, discuss some deep topic. The kind of guy you would see walking around New York, just a stubby, maybe 26 year old guy. Kind of dark skinned, with a dark beard. Anyways, it seems the mall had started to close and I had forgotten my cell phone, and I knew exactly which store I left it in, so I raaaan to go grab it before the store locked up, and I grabbed the door right when the familiar, blonde, tall kind of feminine looking store clerk was about to lock up.. There were two girls in this extremely tiny room that I have no idea what kind of store it was? And I asked if they had a found a phone here earlier (I said it as more of a statement.) They said oh yeah, and began handing me one phone at a time, and I'd say, Yeah! That's it! and then upon closer inspection, it wasn't. I don't think I ever end up getting it, but I left this store and was suddenly joined by this beautiful girl, with curlyed, long blonde hair, cute glossed up lips, very bubbly. By what she said, it seemed like we had just met earlier this day, and I can't remember if it was in the sharing circle or what… But she said "I guess we don't know ech other well enough for you to start texting me every now and then" and I couldn't figure out if she was hinting that she wanted me to, or if she just wasn't into me. But then it just seemed like we were long friends or bf.gf because I whispered in her ear, you're beautiful, and I hugged her tight and we walked as I held her close, through the mall, and it seemed as though everyone was watching us in adoring awe. Like we were the cutest things ever.

It's certainly possible. The satellites are built in clean rooms that go to every extent to prevent that possibility, but nothing is perfect. However, if we DID find microbes on the other planets we've visited, it should be fairly easy to determine if they came from Earth - they'd be structured similarly to Earth microbes, and share the same DNA. Of course, that could just mean life was seed on both planets, but that's not as likely as it being our fault.

Is it possible for household wiring to go dead mid-wire with no sign of damage?

I have an 80 amp wire hardwired from a gang-breaker to my hot tub pump with no junction boxes or anything along the way. The breakers are on and the wire has juice according to my electricity tester for most of the way and then (of course) about 5 feet shy of the hot tub, the wire suddenly goes dead with no sign of damage to the vinyl sheath that coats it. I've never heard of a wire doing this and I'm wondering if this is common and if anyone has any ideas of how to fix it shy of pulling an entirely new wire. I would prefer not to have to splice a new end on with a junction box if possible (because that just opens up a whole new invite for long term issues) but I would equally prefer not to have to pull a new wire given the distance to the breaker is about 80 feet through a maze of floor joists and other obstacles hidden behind mostly drywalled ceiling. Is there an option I am not aware of?

I think there's a place for "simple" music as much as "complex" music. After all, who's to say what is appealing to another's ear? I have a world of respect for a "complex, thoughtful progression", however, I also have the same respect for a talented musician who can make only a few chords sound amazing by virtue of their technique. I think the identity of rock music is more the attitude with which it's delivered rather than the complexity of the music itself. I would say commercialism & m-marketing play the biggest part in the "cheapening" of music, and I always keep in mind that performers can do their thing without critics, but it doesn't work the other way around.

So now I'm ready to start cutting the pieces but it occurred to me that I have light and dark colors. Is it possible that the colors could bleed into each other when the quilt is washed? Should you always pre-wash the fabric before you start cutting to keep the colors from bleeding later or am I just being too cautious?

Alright here goes. Last week I had a dream that my best friend Sammy, killed himself. Then after I found out I went and killed myself. I had another death dream today, were my one friend Danielle died. I never had death dreams before. Here's a little (well a lot) about me. My mom went into the hospital on New Years Eve, she had a heart attack then 2 strokes. She was in surgery then died on the table for an hour. The doctors revived her, they said its a mirical because they normally stop working on someone after 20 minutes. Anyway shes been in the hospital ever since then, she can never go home because she has brain damage, and isn't able to be home alone. At the time of this I was only 17, Its just mom and me. So its really hard. I tired killing myself February, I od. Then I tried to hang myself in the school bathroom in April. Never the less both times I went to the mental hospital (Laurelwood Hospital, in Ohio) My best friend (Sammy) is also suicidal. So I don't know maybe that's why I had the dream or what? But its just been freaking me out. Like I said I never had a death dream before. I looked up online about Death Dreams, and it says that it normally means that someone is going to have a baby or get married, well I'm engaged to my fiance. I don't know. Someone please help me? Well on Sunday "Juan" told me he had almost kissed me on Saturday, and I told him he could kiss me if he wanted to. On Monday "Juan" and I hung out alone at his house. We wound up doing everything except and actual but did oral and everything. He tried to get me to have with him but didnt even ask me out. At that point I decided I liked "Juan" more and he is so far from my "type" which I always knew. "Juan" posted a facebook status Tuesday afternoon saying how I rock his world. I was very happy and was hoping within the next couple weeks he would ask me out. So then after I got off work at 1230am on Tuesday (technically Wednesday I guess) I was on the way over to "Juan's" house and he called me and asked me could I pick up his friend downtown so I did as it was right on the way. The girl's name lets say is "Hannah." Well we went over to Juan's and I could tell that he likes "Hannah" as well. I coulf not believe he would have me pick up a girl he likes.... anyways he kissed her when I dropped her off at her house and then he lied to me anout even liking her. (I didn't know they actually kissed until later). We went back to his house and fooled around again right after they had kissed. So on that night I stayed over with him and slept in his bed and we snuggled. We woke up and I left and I had to finish packing as I was moving. My friend "Raymond" was going to help me. Well I found out that "Raymond" has liked me for years. He was even going to ask me out at one point when my ex and I had split up but we got back together so he didn't get the chance. "Raymond" is a very nice, sweet, smart, and caring guy. I want to give it a shot with him but I don't know if I have feelings that way for him, but he has all the qualities I always say I want. He is not good looking. Then I was hanging out again with "Juan" last night and we didn't do anything ual, but this morning he admitted to liking "Hannah" "Juan" said he had been planning on asking me out within a few weeks but then he found out "Hannah" was single again and wants to be able to kiss both of us etc etc. I was a ***** to him and flipped out on him and now he is begging me to still be his friend. I want you to know that you can control your feelings and your brain. As long as you linger on this girl the longer you will cry and feel this pain. I've been searching for jobs and everywhere I look there are widespread layoffs and very little rehireing and if they do rehire they are hiring and at a wage which no one could afford to work at because gas prices have gone so high. Yet if no one has any disposible income then companies layoff more people causing a complete collapse because since our economy is driven strictly by profit and every last cent is already spent and everyone is feeling the sqeeze then, how do you stop a spiral down effect? A lot of times my baby will only drink 2oz. at a time and I find that my milk goes wasted if I try to feed her from a bottle. Even the 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 is almost always on the minimum system requirements for today's PC game releases. That means most games require a much more powerful CPU than the Pentium 4. If want an Intel processor on your gaming rig I recommend the Core 2 Duo family. Top notch games that released this Fall/Winter are recommending a Core2Duo 2.4 GHz or higher processor if you want to see prettier graphics without slowdowns. I personally have the C2D 2.53 GHz (E7200) overclocked to 3.16 GHz. If your into overclocking that processor is a really stable at overclock and is very easy to do.
